Building Our Scholarship Record: Presenting at the Global Summit on Education 2013

January 9, 2014

While our student teachers were abroad, we felt it was a great time to help them get their feet wet by stepping into the world of international scholarship.  So they decided to assist in a research project and present their results at the 2013 Global Summit on Education at the Dynasty Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dr. Caroline Maurer, then the Associate Dean of Education at Wilkes University, came all the way over to KL present her paper on her research with the students.   The title of that paper was “Using Multicultural Literature for Global Learning” (Paper #103, available at http://worldconferences.net/proceedings/gse2013/toc/index.html).
